Thanks to the TWINPULSE system, the new supercharged engine in the CLK200 Kompressor delivers an even more enjoyable drive and impressively low consumption and emission levels. Within only 9.3 seconds it accelerates the C200 Kompressor to 100 km/h and achieves a top speed of 230 km/h. Due to state-of-the-art supercharging the 1.8 litre engine works highly economical using just 8.6 litres of fuel per 100 km.

The 6-cylinder engines in the CLK240 and the CLK320 combine driving pleasure and smooth operation with outstanding comfort. With its powerful 2.6 litre V6 engine the CLK240 achieves a top speed of gratifying 236 km/h. But the top output comes from the 3.2 litre V6 engine in the CLK320, with 160 kW and a top speed of 244 km/h.

 

Parktronic System

Parktronic makes parking in tight situations much easier. Sensors in the bumpers emit ultrasonic signals which are reflected back by obstacles or other vehicles. The driver is then warned through a display and audible warning signal.

 

Exterior Mirror with Parking Position

The exterior mirror automatically moves to the parking position so that the driver can see the kerb in the exterior mirror as soon as reverse gear is selected in the CLK.

 

Rain sensor

A rain sensor controls the windscreen wiper in the intermittent mode and automatically selects the most suitable interval, from stationary wiper to permanent wiping, depending on the moisture on the windscreen.
